The Main Engine Page is the central hub for sound shaping and performance. It is designed for immediate creative access. It brings together envelopes, filtering, pitch shaping, and performance tools in one organized layout. Whether you’re tweaking a preset or starting from scratch, this page gives you all the essential controls to define the character, dynamics, and expressiveness of your instrument.
This section contains four powerful, character-driven effects processors—Lo-Fi, Skreamer, Distortion, and Jump—plus Preamp, Master, and Output controls for gain staging. Each effect can be used individually or layered for deep tone design.
The Send FX section is where you apply time-based effects like Chorus, Delay, Reverb, and Convolution to create depth, space, and movement. These effects are processed in parallel—meaning you blend the “wet” effect signal into the original “dry” sound using return or mix controls. This allows you to maintain the clarity of your original sound while adding lush ambience or rhythmic complexity.
The Rhythm Engine Source page provides deep modulation capabilities through three dedicated LFOs (Gain, Pan, and Pitch) and a powerful Step Sequencer. These tools allow you to add rhythmic movement, dynamic variation, and expressive automation to your sounds—perfect for modern sound design, evolving textures, and animated pulses.
The step table lets you build intricate sequences by allowing you to adjust the velocity for each individual step. Below that, you’ll find additional controls that give you deeper control over how each step is played:
The Rhythm Engine Filters page gives you powerful tools to sculpt your sound before and after the effects chain, allowing for highly dynamic tonal shaping and rhythmic filter movement. The page is split into two independent sections: PRE-FX Filter Section (affects the signal before the effects) and POST-FX Filter Section (affects the signal after the effects).
Both sections are equipped with Filter Sequencers, Cutoff and Resonance controls, and in the case of PRE-FX, dedicated LFOs for advanced modulation.
The Output Engine Page serves as your final sound shaping and mastering stage. It includes tools for stereo imaging, transient control, compression, and EQ—each offering high-level control to fine-tune your sound before it hits the output.
This is where you finalize tone, balance, and punch, making your sample library sound polished and production-ready.
A Kontakt sample library inspired by the eerie, imaginative sound worlds of 1950s and 1960s science fiction and horror cinema. This instrument pays homage to the sonic pioneers behind iconic films like The Day the Earth Stood Still, Forbidden Planet, Invasion of the Body Snatchers, and Plan 9 from Outer Space. Whether you’re scoring retro horror, sci-fi, or just seeking to inject a dose of atomic-age unease into your modern productions, Invader invites you to step into a sonic dimension where paranoia, wonder, and dread coexist in glorious mono.
