Redesigning the lead synth from Gary Numan’s Cars can be done with just a couple of oscillators. In this lesson, we will program the vintage Polymoog synth lead heard on “Cars” released by Gary Numan in 1979. I will use only 2 oscillators to recreate the sound. For the purpose of this tutorial, I will be using Sylenth 1 by Lennar Digital.
